Shipping and returning

SHIPPING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These terms and conditions apply to purchases made at the online store www.lullame.com of LullaMe.

When placing an order, the customer agrees to the valid terms and conditions.

The online store is owned and operated by Familings Oy / LullaMe, Kuortaneenkatu 2, 00510 Helsinki. Business ID 2626348-2.

Ordering

  1. Add the product you want to cart.
  2. You can edit the shopping cart by adding/reducing the quantity of products. On the same page you can calculate the price of shipping (shipping calculator). After this, press the “checkout” button.
  3. Fill in the contact information and apply any discount code. Press the “continue the shipping method” button.
  4. Select shipping method. Press the “continue to payment method” button.
  5. Select payment method and billing address. Press the “complete order” button. After this, you will go to a secure payment processing system to pay for the order.
  6. After the payment step, your order will automatically be transferred for processing and you will receive an order confirmation in your email box. Please verify the accuracy of the information of the order confirmation.

Delivery area

We send orders to almost anywhere in the world. The instructions for use are in English, Swedish and Finnish. By ordering a product/products from our store, you affirm that you understand one or more of these languages.  

If you reside outside EU, notice that there might be some taxes, duties or fees payable by you according to your local regulations.

Delivery time

We strive to transfer products for shipping on the day of an order or on the following business day. In any case, we try to deliver the product you ordered to you no later than 7 days after payment is received, depending on the delivery method. If an order is significantly delayed you have the right to cancel the order.

Delivery methods

For our soothing baby mattresses, the transport service we use is UPS. We send lighter weight orders as letters (pacifiers and swaddling clothes) and packages (pillows) through Posti. If you live in or visit Finland, you also have the option of picking up the product you order without shipping costs from our office.

UPS Express Saver

For domestic and long-distances shipments we use UPS Express Saver service. The shipment is sent to the customer within 1-2 business days depending on the destination. You will receive an email notice when your order has been transferred for shipping. UPS tries to deliver a product to the destination 3 times. After this this product is returned to LullaMe.

UPS Standard

For European internal shipments we use UPS Standard service. The shipment is sent to the customer across Europe within five business days depending on the starting point and destination. You will receive an email notice when your order has been transferred for shipping.

UPS Express

For several international shipments we use UPS Express service. The shipment is sent to the customer in Europe within one business day and elsewhere in the world within 2-3 business days. You will receive an email notice when your order has been transferred for shipping.

The delivery terms, methods and times of UPS may change, and we are not responsible for their accuracy. Please check the information in your own location from a local representative of UPS.

Pick-up from Helsinki office

You may select a free pick-up from this address: Kuortaneenkatu 2, 00510 Helsinki, Finland. Pick-ups generally take place Mon-Fri from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. If you wish to pick-up at some other time, you can contact customer service service@lullame.com to check whether we are present.

When you come to pick-up your order, please call our customer service number +358 40 708 2001.

Shipping costs

UPS Express Saver

11-33 kg: Free everywhere in Finland, includes return postage.

11-22 kg: 150 € countries outside of Europe.

UPS Standard

11-22 kg: Free everywhere in Sweden, includes return postage.

11-22 kg: 29.30 € - 55.00 € to Europe depending on the location. To get the exact price for the destination you want, calculate it from the “calculate price for shipping” menu on the bottom of the Shopping cart view.

22.01-33 kg: 33.40 € - 59.50 € to Europe depending on the location. To get the exact price for the destination you want, calculate it from the “calculate price for shipping” menu on the bottom of the Shopping cart view.

UPS Express

11-22 kg: 67.90 € - 150 € Around the world depending on the location. To get the exact price for the destination you want, calculate it from the “calculate price for shipping” menu on the bottom of the Shopping cart view.

22.01-33 kg 95.00 € - 350.40 € Around the world depending on the location. To get the exact price for the destination you want, calculate it from the “calculate price for shipping” menu on the bottom of the Shopping cart view.

Posti (Finland)

Letter (for pacifiers and swaddling clothes) 3.90 €.

Package (for pillows) 9.90 €.

Products prices include currently valid value-added tax, which is 24 % right now.

Tracking shipments

After we have processed your order and transferred it to be shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation and tracking number by email. You can check the progress of the shipment by entering the tracking number into UPS’s track shipping.

For tracking a package (pillow) of Posti, you will receive a delivery ID by email. It is not possible to track letters of Posti.

Payment methods

Select the payment method most suitable for you from our four options.

Through the Stripe payment service, you can pay for your purchase with VISA, Mastercard or American Express debit and credit cards.

Paypal

When you pay with PayPal, you are redirected to PayPal’s system in the “payment method” section after you have confirmed the order. Log in with your username and password if you are a PayPal customer and confirm your payment after this. If you are a new customer you can open a PayPal account for yourself and confirm the payment after this.

Klarna – pay later (in Finland only)

When you select Klarna – pay later as the payment method, you will receive the products before you pay for them. After this you will receive an invoice from Klarna with a payment period of 14 days. When paying with Klarna you will be redirected to Klarna’s system in the “payment method” section after confirming the order.

Klarna – slice up payments (in Finland only)

When you select Klarna – slice up payments as the payment method, you can select how much you pay in what month. Learn about Klarna’s general credit terms here. When paying with Klarna you will be redirected to Klarna’s system in the “payment method” section after confirming the order.

Price information

Product prices include currently valid value-added tax, which is 24 % right now. Product prices do not include shipping costs. Payment is made in euros. We reserve the right to make changes to prices of products and shipping.

Refusing an order

LullaMe reserves the right to refuse an order if necessary. In this case the payment is returned to the person who placed the order within 30 days.

Force majeure

LullaMe is not responsible for delays caused by a force majeure or indirect damages resulting from the faulty condition of products or delayed delivery.

Changing terms of ordering and delivery

LullaMe reserves the right to make changes to terms of ordering and delivery. Before placing an order, the person placing the order must become familiar with the valid terms of ordering and delivery.

RETURN POLICY

You have the right to return or exchange our products within 14 days.

Exchange and return

You can return products if you have received faulty products or if you are not fully satisfied with the products you have ordered. We will reimburse you for the price against a receipt or exchange it for another product.

Products must be returned within 14 days of ordering. If you want to exchange or return products, please first contact our customer service: service@lullame.com

  • To receive a full reimbursement, the products must be unused and in the same condition as they were when you received them. Products must be returned in their original packages.
  • You are responsible for a product until we receive the product. We recommend that you send the product through a transport service that insures the whole value of the product.
  • You must pay for the shipping costs of returns unless the products are faulty, damaged or you receive a product with the wrong color.
  • If the return includes products that are part of a package offer, all products must be returned.  Return a product to this address: Familings Oy / LullaMe, Kuortaneenkatu 2, 00510 Helsinki, FINLAND.

Refunding a payment

We will send you an email when your return has been received/processed.

If we accept the return, the payment made for the returned products will be refunded to the payment card used and/or PayPal/Klarna account within a few business days.

If a product was paid for with a gift card, the value will be returned to the gift card or customer will be given a gift card of the same value. A gift card cannot be exchanged for money.

WARRANTY

There is a 12-month warranty on all of LullaMe mattresses.

We offer spare parts, repair or replacement products free of charge if a defect appears in a LullaMe mattress within 12 months of the beginning of the warranty period. LullaMe chooses the appropriate maintenance service at its own discretion.

The warranty covers:

  • Everything except the fabric parts of a product for hygiene reasons.

We do our best to supply the appropriate fabric for repair work and/or spare parts. If these are not available, we will supply colors that match. If a spare part or repair is not economically worthwhile, LullaMe will offer a replacement product. LullaMe may inspect the product and verify the defect before offering a spare part, repair, replacement product or reimbursement.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Use that is contrary to use instructions.
  • Damage resulting from non-home use.
  • Normal wear, such as worn-out fabric or motor, tears in fabric.
  • Intentional damage, misuse or neglect.
  • Modified product or products which were repaired by a non-authorized service shop or an unapproved spare part has been used on it.
  • Defects that are irrelevant to the operation of the product.
  • Compatible accessories such as swaddling clothes, sleeping bags etc.
  • Any losses resulting from not be able to use the product while waiting for a spare part or repair.

You may also order spare parts or repairs for damages that are not covered by the warranty. The price is determined individually. Please contact our customer service: service@lullame.com for ordering any spare part.
